Me 👌🏻

I am an innovative UX Researcher and specialist from Vancouver, Canada. I started out in UX Design and have transition to a UX Researcher as I discovered I am more passionate about understanding users and their behaviours. For example, did you know that when preparing for a hike, the top most important things people want to know before they go are where the toilets and the pubs are located!

I completed a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at the University of Victoria in 2015. While at university, I expanded my education by taking a semester abroad to study Communications at the University of Leeds.

After running away to Australia for a year, I came back to Vancouver where I received my certificate in New Media and Web Development from BCIT in 2018.

After a stint of living in Montreal, I then moved to the UK where I've been working for Ordnance Survey on OS Maps and across other consumer products.

Created an agile research plan to mirror the roadmap and keep research focused.

Facilitated workshops and observation sessions across various user types.

Utilised a range of methodologies to derive the best insights.

Senior UX Researcher

‍Lead OS in UXR by running various tests and sessions to define user problems that get solved in discovery.

Used insights to create infographics to share findings.

Lead a cross functional team responsible for the discovery of a company-wide insight hub.

Evangelized UX across the business ensuring the right tools and methods were used to understand the users.

Ordnance Survey

Senior Product Designer & Researcher

‍Created user tests and utilised results to inform design decisions. Worked across app & web ensuring business objectives aligned with user needs. Redesigned OS Shop, OS Maps Web & App and designed osmaps.com.

UX Designer

‍Designed UX experiments and interfaces for FlightHub and Justfly.com. Created tests and made reports on insights Worked in an agile mentality. Helped developers stay on spec by creating development ready handoffs.
